Synopsis
Blue Sun Palace (2025) is a quiet drama you can watch online on iFILM. It unfolds in the Chinese community of Queens, among migrants who came to New York for grueling, invisible work and lean on each other far from home.
A sudden loss draws together two people who might never have grown close otherwise. Side by side they move through grief, carry the daily labor that keeps them afloat, and try to build something like family out of a borrowed city. The debut feature from writer-director Constance Tsang, which screened in Cannes Critics' Week, watches its characters with patience — long takes, silences, conversations pitched just above a whisper. Lee Kang-sheng and Wu Ke-Xi lead. Slow, enveloping cinema for anyone who likes feeling shown rather than spelled out. Stream Blue Sun Palace online on iFILM.
