Alien

Lyosha lives in a shack cobbled together from scrap. Every week he lays out strange circles across the fields, and around the clock he works a radio set, scanning the frequencies in hope of reaching some extraterrestrial civilization. His neighbors laugh at the whole ritual. Then everything tilts: the visitor he has been calling for so long actually arrives.

Director Ivan Sosnin shapes a hushed parable about faith, loneliness and the right to be unlike everyone around you. Maxim Stoyanov and Alyona Miroshnikova lead the cast. This isn't a film about special effects; it's about a man easier to mock than to listen to, and its ending lands quiet and disarming. Rated 18+.
