Synopsis

Her trucker father and her grandmother surround her with love, but the longing for a mom won't fade. To cure his daughter of the dream, dad tries a trick: he talks Tamara, a gruff barmaid from a shabby roadside cafe, into moving in and playing the would-be stepmother — badly enough that Sonia gives up the idea for good. The plan was simple. Sonia reads it differently: Tamara is merely under a spell, and lifting it will turn her kind and beautiful.
