The Beast Within (2024) is a British horror-drama you can watch online on iFILM. Ten-year-old Willow lives with her parents behind the heavy gates of an estate ringed by ancient woods. She has long sensed that the grown-ups slip away at night and keep something from her. One evening she trails them into the deep forest to find out what.
What she sees rewrites her whole childhood. Willow watches her father undergo a horrifying transformation, and the family secret they fought so hard to bury closes around her too. Director Alexander J. Farrell is less interested in the creature than in a child's dread of who her own parent really is — the tagline "Protector. Provider. Predator." lands right on that nerve. Kit Harington plays the father, with Ashleigh Cummings and young Caoilinn Springall beside him.
