Synopsis
The Earth Speaks! (2024) is a Russian sci-fi comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Stas, a charming but lazy miner, gets trapped underground with eco-activist Lena — and afterward he starts hearing a voice.
The voice belongs to the planet itself. Fed up, the Earth threatens to wipe humanity off its surface unless people finally listen — and Stas is the only one who can hear her. Now the slacker has to convince the world of two things at once: that he isn't losing his mind, and that the polluting has to stop.
Anton Filipenko and Irina Gorbacheva lead the cast, with Evgeny Korchagin directing. He turns climate anxiety into an absurd disaster comedy where saving the planet falls to the least likely man for the job. It's for viewers who enjoy satire with a fantastical hook.
