Synopsis
Inside Amy Schumer (2013), Season 1 — a Comedy Central sketch series, ten episodes, watch online on iFILM. There's no plot to follow. Each half-hour stitches together scripted bits, chunks of Amy Schumer's stand-up, and candid man-on-the-street interviews.
This is where the format clicks into place. Schumer mines sex, dating and everyday awkwardness for laughs: a sexting fumble, a haircut disaster, the impossible task of accepting a compliment. The sketches keep cutting away to her live set or to strangers on a New York sidewalk, so the rhythm bounces between staged and real. Famous faces drop in too, from Selena Gomez to Julia Stiles.
