Synopsis
Worst Roommate Ever (2022), Season 1 — a Netflix true-crime documentary you can watch online on iFILM, five episodes built from real cases. Each one opens with something ordinary: a room for rent, a handshake, a signed lease.
Then the floor drops out. A kindly landlady named Dorothea Puente looks after her boarders a little too closely. College student Maribel Ramos vanishes, and detectives keep circling back to her quiet roommate. A charming athlete runs frauds across several countries before the violence catches up with him. And a self-described serial squatter, Jamison Bachman, talks his way into other people's homes — then refuses to leave.
The show leans on the people who lived through it: survivors and investigators tell their own stories, with restraint where another series would reach for shock. The two-part Bachman saga is the one that lingers, a slow legal nightmare with no clean way out. Stream Worst Roommate Ever Season 1 online on iFILM.
