Dead End: Paranormal Park (2022) is an animated series you can watch online on iFILM — an abandoned attraction, two teenagers and a talking pug up against a swarm of demons.

Barney runs away from home and takes a job at a theme-park haunted house, except the spooks here are real. With his friend Norma and a motormouthed pug named Pugsley — who happens to have a powerful demon stuck inside him — he chases ghosts, deals with bureaucratic angels and, along the way, works out who he is. Each episode is its own creepy little puzzle, with a bigger threat quietly building underneath.

Based on Hamish Steele's DeadEndia graphic novels, the show talks to teens as equals: horror gags on one side, an honest take on self-acceptance on the other, with Barney as one of the first trans leads in kids' animation. It's brisk, funny and never saccharine. Stream Dead End online on iFILM.
