Synopsis
Family (Semya, 2022) is a Russian sitcom you can watch online on iFILM. Director Boris Khlebnikov follows three generations crammed under one surname.
Timofey and Yulia already have two kids and a household that never quiets down. Vadik and Olya are bracing for their first baby and panicking over every little detail. Teenager Pasha, meanwhile, is testing the edges of adult life right under his parents' roof. Small crises and small joys pile up for everyone at once.
Yelena Valyushkina, Sergey Udovik, Veronika Mokhireva and Artemiy Shaffer head the cast. Khlebnikov, better known for bleak arthouse dramas, lightens up here into something warm and unpreachy. A good pick if you like family comedy without the cheap jokes. Stream Family (2022) online on iFILM.
