The rider is Altan, a janissary who knows neither love nor friendship and bows to a single truth — his master's will. He cuts through dozens of enemies and weathers harem schemes and slander with cold, steady nerves. Then he meets a force his discipline cannot beat, and something inside the warrior splits open. What follows will lead him either to a disgraced death or to a life he never expected.

The large ensemble features Igor Petrenko, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan and Yuriy Belyaev, with Zoryana Marchenko opposite them; director Aleksandr Mokhov also takes a role on screen.
