The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (2008) is a Cartoon Network series you can watch online on iFILM. Flapjack, a sweet and gullible little boy, was raised inside the belly of a talking whale named Bubbie, and for a long while that felt perfectly normal to him.

Things change the day they fish a battered pirate, Captain K'nuckles, out of the sea. He spins tall tales about Candied Island — a place made entirely of sweets, with lemonade rivers and gumdrop boulders. The trio sets off to find it and ends up stranded in Stormalong Harbor, surrounded by the oddest neighbors you could imagine.

Created by Thurop Van Orman, who voices Flapjack himself and later directed the Peter Rabbit movie, the show has a deliberately grotesque, rubbery look and humor that teeters between kid-friendly and definitely not. Its writers' room helped launch the talent behind Adventure Time and Gravity Falls. If you grew up on the weird late-2000s cartoons, this one is a direct hit.
