Synopsis

Luther Whitney (Eastwood) is a master burglar long retired from the game. He pulls one last solo job in the mansion of a billionaire philanthropist and is nearly clear with the loot. Then a couple steps into the bedroom: the owner's wife and President Richmond (Gene Hackman) himself. Flirtation turns violent, shots ring out, and Luther watches it all from behind a two-way mirror. Now he holds evidence that could topple the head of state, and men who leave no witnesses are coming for him.
