Two of them were children of the same couple. Refusing to grieve quietly, the parents file a lawsuit against the cinema's owners: the emergency exits had been padlocked to squeeze in extra seating. The case drags on for years. Defense lawyers stall. Hearings get rescheduled. The responsible parties remain free. Radha and Shekhar do not quit.

Starring Rajshri Deshpande and Abhay Deol, with Anupam Kher and Ratna Pathak Shah in supporting parts, the series was directed by Prashant Nair, Avani Deshpande, and Randeep Jha.
