Synopsis
Good Times (2024) is Netflix's adult animated sitcom you can watch online on iFILM. Short on rent, big on love — this brash do-over of the 1970s classic drops a new generation of the Evans family into a Chicago housing project where the money never stretches far enough.
The bills pile up, the apartment is too small, and the personalities are way too big for it. There's a gangster baby, parents who adore their kids and also want to hide from them, and neighbors ready to rope everyone into the next bad idea. The satire goes straight at poverty, race and the American dream with zero filter, and the TV-MA rating earns every minute of it. Jay Pharoah, Marsai Martin and J.B. Smoove lead the voice cast.
Built by producers in the Stephen Curry orbit and a crew raised on Family Guy-style adult animation, this is crude, deliberately uncomfortable comedy that is not aiming for the family couch.
