Synopsis

Goldthwait Higginson Dorr rents a room from a devout widow, Mrs. Munson, and assembles an oddball crew posing as a chamber-music ensemble. From her root cellar they dig a tunnel toward the casino's cash room. The rehearsals are a cover. The catch: their pious landlady, played by Irma P. Hall, notices far more than these crooks bargained for. Marlon Wayans and J.K. Simmons round out the gang, each bringing his own brand of trouble.
