A rescue mission in the Baltic winter: coast guard officer Sanna Tanner and her partner Joonas Kapanen board a stranded icebreaker locked in a storm. They find a frozen body lashed to a ventilation hatch and a group of survivors who have nothing to say. Then Joonas falls through the ice. Sanna is alone on a ship where every person is hiding something, and the storm is not letting up.
