Synopsis

NYPD detective Tommy Conley (Dominic Monaghan) arrives as an outside adviser; Swedish detective Mikael Eklund (Mikael Nyqvist) is his reluctant local partner. They share no instincts, no rhythm, no shared assumptions about how police work gets done. That friction runs through all twelve episodes as much as the case itself. Each new victim complicates the picture rather than clarifying it — and the city that looks ordered turns out not to be.
