Synopsis
İçimdeki Fırtına — Storm Within Me (2017) is a Turkish drama you can watch online on iFILM. Sisters Deniz and Ezgi have known each other their whole lives. That shared history is the problem: Ezgi falls for Emre, Deniz's husband, and decides not to walk away.
It isn't a moment of weakness. Ezgi, played by Gizem Karaca, moves deliberately — and she knows exactly where to apply pressure because she grew up next to the person she's targeting. Deniz, played by Merve Boluğur, recognises the same thing in reverse: no one outside the family could inflict this kind of damage. Director Doğan Ümit Karaca refuses to flatten either sister into a clear villain, which is what keeps the series from sliding into melodrama. The discomfort is the point.
