Synopsis
Signal (2018) is a Japanese detective drama from Fuji TV you can watch online on iFILM. Kentaro Sakaguchi plays a present-day investigator who finds an old walkie-talkie — and starts receiving transmissions from a detective working cases in 1989.
The two men piece together cold cases across a 15-year gap. Each holds what the other lacks: one can still act on information the future cop can no longer change; the other sees how events eventually played out. Every adjustment made in 1989 lands differently in the present — and rarely the way either of them expected.
