Synopsis

The town of Lakewood is quiet until a group of high schoolers posts a video that spreads across the internet in minutes. The prank tears open an old town wound, and out of it comes a masked killer who starts picking the teens off one by one. Willa Fitzgerald plays Emma, caught at the center of the hunt, alongside Bex Taylor-Klaus, Keke Palmer and Amadeus Serafini. Every episode stacks up fresh suspects: everyone keeps secrets, everyone lies, and the face behind the mask could be a friend.
The show keeps the self-aware streak Scream is known for, with characters dissecting horror rules even as they get trapped inside them. It is gorier-light next to the movies, but the whodunit tension runs the full season like a slow-burn puzzle. Good for fans of young-cast slashers who enjoy untangling a mystery episode by episode.
