Directed by Leonardo Nogueira, Marcelo Travesso and Adriano Melo, the series stars Juliana Paiva, Edson Celulari and Christiane Torloni. It's grand in the telenovela tradition — big cast, big emotions — but the time-travel premise gives it a specific absurdist edge that keeps the formula from feeling routine.
