The Countryside (El pueblo, 2019) is a Spanish comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. A handful of city people — each leaving for a different reason: economic pressure, a creative block, exhaustion, the need for silence — show up at what they expect to be a deserted village to restart their lives.

The village is not quite deserted. A few old locals never left, and they have opinions on everything the newcomers do.
