Synopsis
Weathering with You (天気の子, 2019) is Makoto Shinkai's anime feature, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Sixteen-year-old Hodaka runs away from his island home to Tokyo, where endless rain and an empty wallet greet him.
With no ID, he can't land a job. A drifter he met on the ferry throws him a lifeline: a bed and a gig at a tiny magazine chasing occult stories. Then Hodaka meets Hina Amano, a girl with a quiet gift. When she prays, the clouds part and sunlight breaks over the soaked city. The two start a small business selling clear skies by request. But every storm she pushes away asks for something back.
