Shaft (2019) is a loud, gun-heavy action comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Tim Story puts three generations of the same family in one frame: the son cracks cases on a laptop, the father cracks heads.

JJ holds an MIT degree and chases cybercrime for the FBI. When his childhood friend turns up dead under murky circumstances, code and paperwork get him nowhere, so he tracks down a dad he barely knows. John Shaft (Samuel L. Jackson) skipped most of his son's life, but he knows every heroin corner in Harlem by heart. Expect swagger, bullets, and a lot of unsolicited fatherly advice. Regina Hall plays JJ's exasperated mother; Alexandra Shipp is the woman he keeps risking his neck for.
