Season 2
life. death. and life again.
Synopsis
Season 2 of Pushing Daisies (2008) brings back Bryan Fuller's storybook murder-fantasy for 13 episodes you can watch online on iFILM. Ned still bakes pies and raises the dead; Chuck, alive again, is learning what to do with a second life.
The trouble this time is domestic more than magical. Officially Chuck is dead, so she hides from her own aunts — retired synchronized swimmers Lily and Vivian — who have no idea their niece is breathing. Olive, worn down by other people's secrets, runs off to a convent, while a smooth stranger named Dwight Dixon circles the family with an interest in Chuck's late father. The weekly cases get stranger: a beekeeping death, a circus, a chef deep-fried in his own recipe, a lighthouse, a washed-up aquatic act. Underneath it all, Emerson's own secret surfaces — a missing daughter, the reason behind that pop-up book he keeps.
This is the final season. ABC pulled the plug, so Fuller ties off threads faster than he meant to. If the first season hooked you on its color and tone, the second pays back with more warmth and more answers. Stream Pushing Daisies Season 2 online on iFILM.
