Synopsis
The Missing (2014), Season 1 is an eight-episode crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. A British family's holiday in France collapses in seconds when five-year-old Oliver vanishes from a celebrating street crowd.
From there the season runs on two clocks at once. The summer of 2006: the first frantic hours, a sluggish search, parents grasping at every half-lead. And the present day, where Tony has never let his son go — he comes back to Chalons du Bois, reopens the case with French detective Julien, and a buried scrap of evidence suddenly points somewhere alive. His marriage to Emily is long gone. The closer the truth gets, the more it costs the people still chasing it.
Brothers Harry and Jack Williams wrote this less as a missing-child procedural and more as a study of what loss does to people a decade on. David Morrissey plays the father right at the edge of obsession. A strong season for viewers who want the mystery to matter more than the chase. Stream The Missing Season 1 online on iFILM.
