From there: a body inside the maze of a retreat centre, a haunted house call that isn't purely paranormal, a body farm hiding a small town's buried history, Jenny's son Ross caught up in a murder investigation after a night out, and a double homicide on Christmas Eve that sends her and Donovan McAvoy to a remote and dangerous location with the clock running. The extra two episodes give this season room the earlier ones didn't have — the slower middle stretch pays off in a finale that needs the two-part format.
