Synopsis
Watchmen (2019), Season 1 — HBO's sci-fi crime drama, nine episodes, watch online on iFILM. The year is 2019 in a history where Robert Redford has been president since 1992 and the Seventh Cavalry, a white nationalist group wearing Rorschach's face, has just put every cop in Tulsa on high alert.
Detective Angela Abar works masked — Sister Night — and is handed a murder case that unravels faster than she can contain it. What starts as a procedural pulls her into the story of her own grandfather and the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, into a love she didn't see coming, and eventually toward a confrontation with something that isn't quite human. Meanwhile an old man in a European manor — recognizable to anyone who read Alan Moore's original graphic novel — stages an increasingly theatrical bid for freedom. FBI agent Laurie Blake arrives to figure out who is really running Tulsa.
