Season 5

Synopsis

In Plain Sight (2008), Season 5 is the crime drama you can watch online on iFILM — eight episodes that close out Mary Shannon's run as an Albuquerque witness-protection marshal in 2012.

Motherhood reshapes everything this year. Mary now has baby Norah, and the job's usual mess collides with the question of whether she can raise a child at all. The witnesses keep coming: one bolts onto a Native American reservation, a bigamist hides from both his wives, a New Orleans drag performer lands in WITSEC. Running underneath it all is her father, gone AWOL for thirty years and suddenly back on her doorstep — a man the FBI wants, with unfinished business of his own.

This is the show's farewell. USA Network ends the story on episode eight, the series finale, and lets Mary's family reunion and her work finally crash together. Worth it if you like a procedural built around a sharp, prickly lead rather than the case of the week. Stream In Plain Sight Season 5 online on iFILM.
