Synopsis
Sex Education (2019), Season 1 — eight episodes, watch online on iFILM — is the Netflix comedy-drama with the best school premise in years.
Otis Milburn's mother Jean is a sex therapist, so he knows the theory in clinical detail. The practice is a different matter. Rebel classmate Maeve spots this and proposes a deal: she runs logistics, he runs the sessions, they split the fees. The underground clinic at Moordale Secondary draws in students with problems that are funny, mortifying, and occasionally serious. Otis falls for Maeve while pretending not to, best friend Eric navigates his identity alongside a brutal social order, and star swimmer Jackson hides a pressure nobody sees.
