Synopsis

What follows is the story of a thirteen-year-old who has never belonged anywhere and quietly starts to reshape a community that wasn't ready for her. School means bullying and a best friend called Diana. A tea party spins wonderfully out of control. One winter night, Anne's quick thinking saves a sick child and shifts the town's opinion almost without her noticing. By the finale, the farm itself is at risk — and the question is whether Marilla and her unexpected ward can hold it together.
