Penny and her classmates experience culture shock when their teacher assigns them to spend time in homes of classmates of different nationalities. Penny's initial awkwardness when visiting a Pakistani family who's fasting during Ramadan gives way to an appreciation of the Islamic faith.

Penny is running against mudslinger Wizard Kelly Jr. in the race for class president.

Wizard Kelly organizes a televised talent contest featuring celebrity judge Alicia Keys, and LaCienega decides to enter it. But Penny suspects that the wannabe pop idol isn't above cheating to win.

After Mongo, a famous wrestler, takes ill at the hands of Proud Snacks, Oscar is forced to step into the ring to defend Mongo's belt. Oscar, now known as “Mama's Boy,” does so with the help of his tag-team partner, Suga Mama. Ironically, Mongo ends up having to fight Oscar to get his belt back.

Suga Mama suffers a momentary lapse of confidence after taking over management duties of a struggling baseball team.

Penny wishes for her Bebe & Cece to be older so they can look after for themselves.

Suga Mama enlists Oscarto help her study when her driver's license expires and she must take the renewal exam.

When Penny's friend Michael is called a sissy, she takes responsibility for helping him defend himself.

Penny convinces her mom to let her adopt an abandoned duck.
