Iris has become increasingly comfortable in Malmö and as Head of the Cold Case Unit. They have a new case on their hands: a body has been found buried outside Ystad near a manor house.

Iris is back in Malmoe and threatened with suspension. A new acting chief is to be appointed and Kerstin feels ready to take over.

Iris finally gets hold of Adam in Spain. They have managed to arrest Van Voorst, but the only person he wants to talk to is Iris

Sara has disappeared without a trace since the disastrous family dinner. Both the family and the police are searching for her.

Sara is found lifeless and rushed to the emergency room. Her brothers rush to the hospital, but their mother reacts very differently.

he new discovery in the forest marks the beginning of the end. Thorbjörn's wife Marianne disappears, but Iris finds her in time and gets her to start talking.
