Второй сезон делает ставку на кроссоверы. Открывает его встреча Статика с Бэтменом и Робином против Джокера, который вербует местных головорезов; чуть позже на помощь приходит Шакил О'Нил, играющий самого себя. Но за звёздными гостями шоу не теряет своих линий. Ричи получает временные сверхспособности и слишком входит во вкус, сестра Шэрон вплотную подбирается к секрету брата, а старые знакомые — Жаркая Полоса и подобревший Резиновый человек — возвращаются с новых сторон. Тон скачет от почти зомби-хоррора до бытовых сцен с новой девушкой отца-полицейской. Завершает сезон тихий и сильный эпизод «Джимми» о школьной травле, который многие помнят отдельно от всего остального.
