Synopsis
Ozark (2017), Season 1 — a 10-episode Netflix crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Financial adviser Marty Byrde's business partner steals from a Mexican drug cartel; now Marty owes half a billion dollars and has one option left: run.
He moves the family to rural Missouri, to a lake community that looks quiet and isn't. Marty starts buying failing local businesses — a lakeside lodge, a strip club, a church — and folding dirty money into their books while FBI agent Roy Petty watches from the edges. Ruth Langmore, a young thief from a family of small-time criminals, first tries to rob Marty and then becomes indispensable. The Snells — a couple running an illegal poppy operation on their farm — hold ground of their own. Every solution Marty finds opens a new problem.
