Synopsis

Every obstacle arrives at once. Cade Langmore gets out of prison and pulls at Ruth the moment he walks through the door. Wendy works the Missouri statehouse — pressure campaigns, dirty favors, a wavering senator — to push the casino bill through. Agent Petty recruits someone in Marty's circle to feed him information. Darlene Snell starts making unilateral decisions that nobody can walk back. Ruth is caught between her father and the Byrdes, and the choice she eventually makes shifts the show's center of gravity.
