Space Cobra (スペースコブラ, 1982) is a Japanese anime series you can watch online on iFILM. Based on Buichi Terasawa's manga, it follows Cobra — a galaxy-roaming pirate who once wiped his own memory and changed his face to disappear from his enemies. The plan almost worked. Almost.

With his memories back, Cobra reunites with the android Lady Armaroid and his ship, the Tortuga, and picks up right where he left off: chasing down fugitive princesses, crossing the outlaw Pirate Guild, and dodging the Milky Way Patrol in roughly equal measure. His signature weapon is a psycho-gun built into his left arm. His signature attitude is a cigar and a smirk. The show runs on that combination longer than it has any right to.
