Synopsis
Brand New Cherry Flavor (2021) is an eight-episode Netflix supernatural horror series you can watch online on iFILM, starring Rosa Salazar as Lisa Nova, a young filmmaker who arrives in early-'90s Los Angeles with a finished script and serious ambition.
A predatory producer steals her movie. Lisa turns to Boro, a cryptic woman with powers that sit well outside the normal, and strikes a deal for revenge — only to discover the price is disturbingly, viscerally literal: kittens start crawling out of her body. Writers Nick Antosca and Lenore Zion keep the grotesque needle steady throughout, building a world where the horror industry and actual horror are nearly indistinguishable. Catherine Keener plays Boro as something ancient and perfectly unbothered.
