Muppet Babies Season 7 is the 1990 finale of the classic ABC animated run — 16 episodes you can watch online on iFILM. After six seasons, Kermit, Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie, and the nursery gang still haven't exhausted their imagination.
Season Seven leans into pop-culture parody from the start: the premiere riffs on Star Trek, Indiana Jones, and Bill & Ted inside a single episode; Gonzo launches his own imaginary television channel; the whole crew stages a superhero opera while Nanny watches Phantom of the Opera in the next room. Uncles Statler and Waldorf drop in twice — once to help reenact the Transcontinental Railroad, again with a suitcase full of hats. By the finale the babies are building their own amusement park in the nursery. A tidy send-off for Saturday morning's longest-running cartoon.
