My Little Monster (Season 1)

My Little Monster (となりの怪物くん, 2012) is a Japanese romantic comedy anime you can watch online on iFILM. Shizuku Mizutani has one goal in life: finish at the top of her class. She's fine being alone. Then her teacher asks her to drop off some notes for Haru Yoshida, the classmate who got himself suspended before the year even started.

Haru has a reputation. He punched someone on the first day of school and hasn't been back since. But when Shizuku shows up at his door, he decides on the spot that she's his new best friend — and, minutes later, that he loves her. Shizuku has no idea what to do with him. The show runs 13 episodes and finds its charm in the gap between these two: a girl who treats emotions like a distraction and a boy who has no filter whatsoever.
