Thunderpants

Thunderpants (2002) is a British family comedy from Peter Hewitt you can watch online on iFILM. The premise is gloriously dumb: eleven-year-old Patrick Smash is born with two stomachs and breaks wind hard enough to rattle the windows.

His gift makes him an outcast until his one friend, a brilliant inventor named Alan (Rupert Grint) who happens to have no sense of smell, works out how to turn the curse into a superpower. The road takes Patrick to fame, to death row, and finally toward his dream of becoming an astronaut. The supporting bench is absurdly classy for a fart movie: Stephen Fry, Paul Giamatti, Simon Callow and Ned Beatty all turn up.
