Synopsis
Morvern Callar (2002) is a British drama directed by Lynne Ramsay, available to watch online on iFILM. Samantha Morton carries the film almost entirely without dialogue — Ramsay builds meaning through texture: the thud of a Portastatic soundtrack, fluorescent aisles, Spanish heat. There are no explanations offered and none withheld; this is a portrait of a woman quietly dismantling one existence before she understands what she wants instead.
