Waters originally released Polyester with "Odorama" scratch-and-sniff cards so audiences could smell along with the on-screen action at their own risk. It remains one of his most accessible films — which is a relative term when it comes to Waters — and the Divine and Tab Hunter chemistry is genuinely strange and funny.
