Season 1
Who dares wins.
Synopsis
SAS Rogue Heroes (2022), Season 1 watch online on iFILM — a six-episode BBC war drama about the rowdy birth of Britain's most reckless special forces unit in the North African desert.
It is spring 1941 and the regular army is stuck. David Stirling (Connor Swindells) and Jock Lewes pitch what high command calls lunacy: drop a handful of men behind the lines and hit the enemy where no attack is expected. This first season is the climb from a half-mad idea to a fighting unit with official standing. A first raid that goes catastrophically wrong. Brutal training under the unhinged Paddy Mayne (Jack O'Connell). Losses that land hard. And airfield raids that make Axis commanders learn the SAS name the hard way. By the finale the men are running on Benghazi and meeting Churchill himself.
Creator Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) shoots the war with deliberate swagger — rock music over the gunfire and soldiers who treat the rulebook as a suggestion. Under the bravado sits a true story, drawn from Ben Macintyre's book. Good for anyone who likes their history loud and free of museum dust. Stream SAS Rogue Heroes Season 1 online on iFILM.
