Synopsis
This Little Love of Mine (2021) is an Australian romantic comedy that's easy to watch online on a quiet night. Laura, a San Francisco lawyer one step from making partner, flies back to the tropical island where she grew up — sent there by her firm's most important client.
The errand sounds simple on paper: persuade her childhood friend Chip to sign the papers that would make him his grandfather's billionaire heir. The island has other plans. It hands Laura back everything she'd filed away — an old friendship, an easy kind of happiness, and feelings she assumed her career and her engagement to Owen had long buried. Saskia Hampele plays a woman caught between the contract and her own heart, with Liam McIntyre as Chip.
There's nothing pretentious about it: palm trees, ocean, a warm and fairly predictable choice between ambition and home.
