Synopsis
Good Advice (2001) is a romantic comedy starring Charlie Sheen that you can watch online on iFILM. Director Steve Rash spins the tale of a Wall Street trader who loses everything in a single bad stretch — his job, his apartment, his money, and both of the women in his life.
Ryan Turner has been coasting on swagger and easy cash until his luck finally runs out. Dodging creditors, he crashes at the place of a girlfriend who skips town (Denise Richards) and, out of sheer desperation, takes over her newspaper advice column, "Ask Cindy," writing as a woman. The catch: a self-absorbed money man has no idea how to answer readers' letters about love and heartbreak. A sharp-tongued editor (Angie Harmon) keeps him afloat, and the longer Turner fakes someone else's voice, the more he actually changes. John Lovitz and Rosanna Arquette fill out the supporting bench.
It's a breezy early-2000s mistaken-identity comedy where a cynic learns to listen by pretending to be a woman. Nothing weighty here, just Sheen's easy comic charm from his pre-tabloid years. A fine fit for anyone after a low-stakes weekend rom-com. Stream Good Advice (2001) online on iFILM.
