Synopsis
Easy Money (Snabba cash, 2010) is a Swedish crime thriller directed by Daniel Espinosa that you can watch online on iFILM. Economics student JW moonlights as a taxi driver to fund a life he cannot actually afford — private clubs, the right clothes, the right crowd. When the opportunity to move cocaine arrives, he takes it, convinced he can control the exposure.
Joel Kinnaman plays JW with the specific arrogance of someone who thinks intelligence is armor. The film runs two other stories alongside his: Jorge, a Latin American fugitive caught between a Serbian mob and Swedish police, and Mrado, the mob's enforcer who wants out before the business finishes him. All three threads tighten toward each other in the final act.
Adapted from Jens Lapidus's Stockholm noir novel, the film arrived at a moment when Scandinavian crime fiction was everywhere, but this one worked from the inside — not an outsider exposing the system, but people already consumed by it. Stream Easy Money (2010) online on iFILM.
