Halo Legends

Halo Legends (2010) is an anthology of seven animated shorts set in the Halo universe, available to watch online on iFILM. Each short was handled by a different Japanese studio, so the art and tone shift hard from one piece to the next.

The episodes jump across the timeline of the human–Covenant war — Spartan combat in one, a quiet near-myth in another, even a comic bit about a stray AI. Mamoru Oshii of Ghost in the Shell oversaw one segment, and that spread of directors is really the whole appeal.
