Synopsis
The Wrong Missy (2020) is Tyler Spindel's comedy, easy to watch online on iFILM. Tim meets a charming woman named Missy and invites her to his dream corporate getaway, then accidentally texts the invite to a completely different Missy.
And that other Missy (Lauren Lapkus) is a category-five storm. Tim (David Spade) once survived a disastrous blind date with her, and now she is gleefully flying off to Hawaii with him, straight into a retreat packed with his bosses. She throws knives on the beach, derails every meeting, and torpedoes Tim's every attempt to look like a serious grown-up. Also at the resort: his picture-perfect ex, a possible promotion, and rising chaos. Nick Swardson, Molly Sims and Rob Schneider fill out the cast.
This is classic Adam Sandler Happy Madison fare: crude, loud and proudly dumb, with zero interest in subtlety. But Lapkus goes so gloriously feral that she practically carries the thing solo. It's a Friday-night beer movie, nothing more, nothing less. Stream The Wrong Missy (2020) online on iFILM.
