Synopsis
In The Mix (2005) is a crime comedy directed by Ron Underwood — watch it online on iFILM. Usher plays Darrel, a hot-shot DJ whose one good deed — pulling mob boss Frank Pacelli (Chazz Palminteri) out of danger — lands him the strangest gig of his life.
Pacelli's idea of repayment is simple: Darrel becomes the full-time bodyguard for his daughter Dolly (Emmanuelle Chriqui). Suddenly the club circuit gives way to mob politics, surveillance, and a rotating cast of edgy wiseguys. Kevin Hart rounds out the ensemble with his usual loud energy, keeping things light when the crime plot thickens.
